CRiB - Curry Rivel in Bloom
CRiB was set up under the auspices of the Parish Council as a result of feedback from the Parish Plan. During the consultation period several villagers had suggested that Curry Rivel should consider an entry into Britain in Bloom and a group of enthusiastic people in the village made this happen in 2016. CRiB led by Peter Goodenough achieved a Silver medal in the Cox Cup at the South West in Bloom awards, 5th Oct 2017 in Torquay. More remarkably the Landscaping at the War Memorial scooped the City of Bath Cup at the same awards.
For 2018, with a new independent constitution, a committee led by Gina Beauchamp including a representative from the Parish Council, Curry Rivel in Bloom (CRiB) hopes to improve on its 2017 success.
There will be more community involvement for all ages, more sponsorship opportunities and more projects around the village.
